What is needed for a Cloud Enterprise
Each typical reception desk requires approximately 10 requests per second for information. Here’s a practical framework for handling ~10 requests per second (RPS) for each reception desk, with access from both automated services and human operators.
What does “10 rps” mean?
- Peak: 10 rps ≈ 600 rpm ≈ 36,000 requests/hour ≈ 864,000 requests/day.
- Traffic (assuming 200 KB/response): 10 rps ≈ 2 MB/s → ~170 GB/day.
- With CDN (80% hit): Origin load ~34 GB/day.
